Personal mantra: The Golden Rule
What brought you into real estate? I’ve always had an interest in real estate but was doing exceptionally well in the automotive space, however when I moved to California that business model was quite different and failed to align with my vision. I ultimately had to make a change so I took a big chance and made a big change. Much of my skillset was transferrable, but I have found that real estate has a far greater upside. I get the opportunity to assist people in buying or selling their most valuable asset.
Who has served as your mentor in your career? In 1996, I was pushed to go to a training seminar to best learn how to sell cars in the 21st century. This seminar was hosted by a gentleman named Grant Cardone who, at the time, was the premier auto sales trainer. I really appreciated his customer focused sales approach and have been using his methodology since. His words speak to my core values. He motivates me like no other professional development speaker prior or over the past few decades. I have seen him speak live three more times as he has become a renowned trainer for business professionals across all fields.
What would the title of a memoir about your life be? My continuous quest to push others to their potential and in the process, reach my own.
When I go back to Ohio my hometown friends claim LA has elevated my sense of style, as if there was room to grow.
When I’m not serving the real estate needs of the LA area you are likely to find me enjoying two-wheel therapy on my motorcycle.
